Whenever I visit Lafayette, I always try to eat breakfast at the Coffee Depot (Beignets & hot chocolate). This time I added french toast, grits, and bacon. I wasn’t disappointed and I ate every bite. It was a very busy day and every waitstaff seemed to be on their game. The establishment was very clean and signs were posted on both doors, requiring you to wear a mask before entering. Tony was our server and he was definitely on it. We were interested in purchasing an item and Gabby (Manager) came over to speak with us. She was full of energy and very polite. Every establishment needs a manager like her. My visits will continue and you should visit them as well.

BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!!! Take a warm step back in time, to feel welcomed, and full. The two most important qualities in a breakfast joint. This place does nearly everything from scratch, and the Louisiana beignets are to die for! Your kids will go crazy for the pancakes too! Dad will appreciate how strong the coffee is, and Mom will enjoy an affordable break from Starbucks to pick up a creamy Café Au Lait for the road. Stop looking up other places, and trust me. Delicious! Stopped for breakfast on an early Sunday morning. We ordered a vanilla cappuccino and a vanilla frozen coffee. Both were amazing! We also tried the beignets (5/5!). The Breakfast Croissants were yummy and the pecan waffle was savory and sweet! Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a cozy breakfast!

From the moment you walk into The Coffee Depot, you are greeted by a warm and inviting space that is sure to put you at ease. The decor is both rustic and unique, with interesting touches like vintage signs, exposed brick walls, beautiful wooden interior, and miscellaneous antiques that add deep character to the space. The overall aura of the coffee shop is simply amazing, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone. Now let's talk about the food - it is simply phenomenal! The eggs, bacon, sausage, and boudin are cooked to perfection and burst with flavor in every bite. The beignets are outstanding, with a light and fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. 7/31/21 We had an awesome hostess and waitress! Very friendly service at this eatery! Awesome spot for breakfast. I will have to come back and try the lunch. This is the only place I know around that does scrambled eggs with cheese and diced bell peppers/tomatoes (without having to order an omelette). Tasty breakfast potatoes and delicious biscuit sandwich! I will be back to try the beignets and other items.

My son and I stopped in for Beignets to go. We sat on the side while waiting for our order. The staff are so sweet and kind, considerate and professional. The place is beautifully done, clean and just so homey. Transports you to an old towne feeling of old school. Food and service was great. Beautiful little gem here in Scott! Wonderful place to stop by!!💜💜💜💜💜

Cute restaurant in an old train depot. You can hear the trains coming through on the tracks outside while you are eating. We had a long wait for a table on a Saturday morning but once seated the service was excellent. Delicious food and coffee drinks. I had the bacon croissant and my son had the waffles and bacon. Everything was so delicious. We also had the beignets which were served hot and fresh. Definitely would recommend for a delicious breakfast!

I have already been there many times now. Atmosphere is lovely, especially around the holidays. The cafe is decorated really well and the lighting is pretty. Great service there, all staff I met were very friendly and offered suggestion on the menu. The beignets were delicious and well prepared and you get a lot for the price as well. Coffee was great too. Haven't tried anything else, but I will be going back.

Food was excellent so excellent we came back again before going back home! Everything we ordered was sooo good; pancakes, waffles, French toast, biscuit & gravy, the cappuccinos were so good as well. And it felt at home. Server was amazing (I forgot her name but she was so sweet)

I found this place through a Google search while staying in Scott, LA for a meeting. The place was cute, clean and the staff was super friendly. I had a hearty breakfast and found the prices very fair.
